Our Sling Bag – Phuthi in brown leather is made from a 100% South African Cow Leather with a tribal design woven fabric on the front. Our Leather buffed, coated in oil and then burned through an ironing press to achieve the desired effect. Once in use, the oil disperses into the hide, softening the leather from the inside out. This creates a 2 tone distress appearance with a soft velvet touch.

The interior of our Sling Bag also lined with original South African Shweshwe fabric for strength and style. Additionally, this Sling Bag – Phuthi also has an adjustable shoulder strap with brass buckle. Detachable brass snap hooks and durable metal zip slider. As a matter of fact, all NAVA Apparel bags are handmade by local South African craftswomen.

Artist Inspiration: The Phuthi Collection, designed to represent the Phuthi people of South Africa – a Bantu-speaking ethnic group from the Basotho Kingdom. This group lives primarily in the southern parts of Lesotho. The Collection made for the brave and independent explorer, who will survive the ages of time through his / her strength and determination. Remember your heritage as traditional values should never be forgotten.
