Molokoane Street: Cooking is heaven when living is hard – Nicky Elliott

Molokoane Street is just like any other township street in South Africa.But it is here, in the heart of Imizamo Yethu in Cape Town’s Hout Bay, that we visit, cook and laugh with seven women (and one man) who are neighbours and friends who lookout for each other.

Meal times are happy times and, through the pages of this book, the women of Molokoane Street are proud to share their personal stories, as well as their simple and delicious recipes, so that the world can enjoy a taste of finger-licking traditional fare.
